Miniature Monday - Tech-Priest Enginseer

This post is long overdue, as the Tech-Priest Enginseer has been done for months and has seen many a battlefield. He's the first HQ that I finished for my army and he was my Warlord in my Adepticon Friendly list.

So, let's take a look at him.

This model is one of the few infantry models in the army that I've painted in sub-assemblies, due to the way his legs and arms go together.

I needed to paint the body without it glued together so I could reach one leg and without the arms in order to paint the chest properly. If I painted another one, I'd likely glue the body together after priming and just paint what I can see. But, it was a learning experience.

I used him in the Adepticon Friendly alongside the Tech-Priest Dominus that I converted. I used him as my Warlord because I thought that my opponents would go for the Dominus, forgetting that I said the Enginseer was the Warlord.

It worked for the most part, and he survived the tournament fairly well.

That's about it for now. It's been a long time since I painted him and I can't remember a lot of it.

I thought he was my test model for the new coppers but, after looking at him again I realized that he was painted with the old recipe instead.

That's it for now though.

Until next time, thanks for reading!
