The State of Brush Wizard

It's been some 5 months since I posted last. The reason being a mix of house responsibilities, lack of time and crafter's block.
Originally the idea behind Brush Wizard was to post progress of the projects I'm working on as they go. But I found that it seemed to get tedious, and if I didn't really make much progress then there was nothing to talk about.  I found this to be the problem with Mr. Bones' Graveyard, as long sections of it required large areas of paint to dry before moving on.

So now I am thinking of ways to best move forward with Brush Wizard. And at the moment it seems that the best course is to only post finished projects with some step by step pictures sprinkled in there too. That way You get to see the final project in one shot, along with some "making of" shots. Thus making it so you don't have to wait for a cliffhanger of wondering if the project ever finished.

I will be beginning this route with my next project, which is actually a top-secret Christmas present. Which means I can't spill the beans on it until after I give it. I can't wait to see his face when he opens it, I'm super hyped about it. And after our Christmas party, near the end of the month, I will post a write up on the project.

Then from there I plan on finishing up Mr. Bones' Graveyard and will continue on with the new way of posting things. If it means long stretches between finished projects, that's fine with me. As it still means I get to show things off. Plus I will try to sprinkle in any miniatures related news I'm hyped for in between projects.
