Wander: The Journey So Far...

Lately, I've been addicted to working on the Wander figures from Red Panda Miniatures and Panda Cult Games. In the weeks following GenCon I've knocked out three of the seven miniatures in the current line up. You've seen Tank and Jon already, but now I've finished Roland and have taken better pictures of all of them.

Let's take a look!

Tank

Tank was a fun challenge. I used his shell as a chance to really push myself further in detail than I really had previously. The shell itself took nearly as long as the rest of the entire miniature combined and even after "finishing" it, I still went back to it later and tweaked it some more.

Jon

The skin for Jon was another attempt to push my skills further. In general, I've never really tried that hard when it comes to animal skin/patterns. But for this guy I felt like he needed to be special and that he couldn't be plain green, especially since Tank is mostly just green too. Plus, he's a bard, he's supposed to be flashy!

Roland

The final of the current three is Roland, a red panda warrior. His fur ended up being more of a challenge than I was expecting and when I was done with it on the first night, I wasn't super happy with it. But in the end, I left it be and ended up liking how he turned out.

That's it for now! Three Wander heroes down, four to go. Don't forget to check out the Kickstarter going on RIGHT NOW for Wander: The Cult of Barnacle Bay! That game is going to be so full of awesomeness. Also, be sure to watch Twitter and Instagram for more Wander goodness, as I work my way through these fellas.

Until next time!
