Let's Paint: C'thulhu - Part Two

Alrighty! Let's finish up C'thulhu!

Other than the insane drying time I had to deal with while painting him without my hair dryer, he still came together really quickly. I feel that is partly because of the nature of the model. Thanks to the sponge painting I was able to get solid skin mottling done easily and quickly.

Special thanks to George of Black Heart Models for sending me this bust so I could paint it at the convention. Check out their stuff at blackheartmodels.com.

That's it for this project. Next week we'll get started with the series featuring Takata from MidKnight Heroes! He was a joy to work on and snagged me a bronze trophy in the open category of this year's Golden Kobold at GenCon.
