Wizardry in Progress 5/16/18

This was a thin week for hobby.

I spent the better part of the week messing around with car troubles and looking at replacements.

On the hobby front, I primed the next squad of models for the Blood Angels commission, which is a squad of Vanguard Veterans, and got some tactical marines ready for paint as well. I also made a plinth for the Mary Fix-It and G.R.I.T.T. bust and was able to finish off her final video.

Let's take a look.

Blood Angels Tacticals
One of the batches of troops for the Blood Angels commission, these are all beaky marines.

He had these all assembled. But I glued them on the bases.

I'm currently waiting on an extra head and a heavy flamer for the one guy, as well as another 5 dudes for their squad. Then I can start painting them.

Death Company Tacticals
More Death Company! So much RAAAAGE.

These guys will be a 5 man squad of Death Company. I had to glue their heads on and glue them to their bases.

I really like the guy in the front center of the picture. He's bad ass.

Mary Fix-It Gets a Plinth
Mary Fix-It is officially all finished!

I bought a wooden candlestick holder from Michael's and cut it down. I then painted it with black spray paint and gloss coat.

It turned out nice and the black doesn't draw away from the model itself. I like it a lot.

Expect a Miniature Monday write up on her soon!

That's it for now. Like I said, it was light week for hobby. Hopefully next week I can get some solid hobby progress in and get the Death Company Vanguard Veterans painted up.

Until next time, you can see all my progress on Twitter and Instagram. Thanks for reading!
